Lightning Tapes is a yearly subscription model. You will need to have your account in good standing in order to continue the use of Lightning Tapes.
After purchase, you will immediately receive an email with a download link for the installer and instruction files. You will only need to provide your email address when asked in order to register.
Legacy Users: For all previous Version Licenses your License will continue to function as expected and never expire.
Subscription Users: A current subscription is good for all future updates to Lightning Tapes for the registered Vectorworks serial number.
Make sure that [email protected] is a trusted sender in your email client. Check your spam or junk mail folder if you have not received an email from us in your inbox after purchase.
Yearly Subscription: Your subscription will auto renew every year on date of origional purchase. Please note this renewal may not line up to each VW release date. As long as your subscription is active, you will receive all new Lightning Tapes versions.
Yearly Subscriptions may be terminated anytime from purchase. Termination of your account does not relieve you of payment obligation for the year and only cancels the subscriptions auto renew. Should you choose to cancel a Yearly Subscription please contact us at [email protected]. Changes to Yearly plans will be within a 48hr window of renewal.
While we never thought we would need to add a clause like this we now need to.
We reserve the right to cancel or not sell Services and/or Products to individuals who act in a manner that endangers Lightning Tapes and all associated Companies. Written notice will be sent with a 14 Day written warning of cancellation. If individual or party should choose to continue such actions not in line with our terms and conditions, Lightning Tapes and associated companies reserve the right to suspend subscriptions, block future purchases and not responsible for any refunds.
Currently, the Epson TM20-II is the only recommended printer. While Lightning Tapes may work with any OS Supported printer, we have found that it is the most accurate printer at this time with recommended settings. Some printers may lose up to 1/16" per foot, where the TM-T20ii remains accurate.
